Ethereal Eyes

                                                           With my digi-camara kaput
I had to wake wifie up at 4.30am in the morning
when I found these two celestials
staring through my bedroom window.
It was well worth while and she took a great shot.
Careful scrutinising shows the sea's horizon

SABISHI!

Yonta, after a last bath.
The new owner came to collect him shortly after.
Glad to see he'll have a nice home with lots of love.

Pals
Basil (on top) and Yonta are going to miss each other
when their owners come to claim them.
Duke will also miss the beach chases

Aint nothing like a tummy tickle.
The new owner called her Basil, a boy’s name,
because they own a herb garden and restaurant.
Suppose it’s better than Coriander.
Duke at Dawn
With May now opened up morning walkies start early.
Sun gets uncomfortable by 7.00am
Basil is Back.

Abandoned, found, relocated and now back again.
Basil may be starting life as a mixed-up kid.
Her new owner had a chain saw accident
and will be hospitalized for three weeks.
So Basil is back with us - a delightful guest, and great
playmate for Yonta, also a temp. lodger.

Last chat?
She came to us out of the night and,
almost fifteen years later, went back into the night

Soon after this photo was taken by wifie,
old Gypsy disappeared for ever.
She tottered into the garden for her usual bedtime pee
and an hour later hadn't returned.
For the rest of the night we searched local fields
and the coastline but not a sight.
Dozens of people looked for her for two weeks.
We can only conclude she had decided
it was time for her to go without bothering us.
Perhaps just a few last words to Duke.
Almost blind and deaf Gypsy could hardly
make her way across a room,
so her disappearing act confounded us all.
We hope she found somewhere warm and dry for her last sleep.
R.I.P. Gypsy.
Lovely doggie.
