Farmer's friend
The brother of the stray pup found on the beach last week
is back home and adapting to a life of farming with owner,
Mr.Katsunachi (Mr.No Shoes).
The brown pup has been adopted by a family running
the Herb Garden Restaurant on the other side of the island.
Lucky dog, can look forward to a lifetime of tasty leftovers.

Picked up a cute female on the beach this morning.
She'd been following me for quite a while and was really
grateful when I took her in my arms. She was lost and lonely
and quite happy to accompany me home. Wife wasn't too pleased.
"One's quite enough," she said. And she was right, as usual.
It was while I was wondering what to do with this new babe in
my life that a whoop of surprise came from the kitchen.
Mum and brother were in the garden frantically searching for
their missing family member. It was a joyous reunion and even
better that the mum was no other than Duke's little girlfriend.
Not seen her for a while, but its evident what she's been up to.
Duke disclaims paternity but is quite happy to entertain the family
until we can contact Mr.Katsunachi, the local farmer owner.
A happy ending. All that's left is to get rid of the fleas.

Sand Story
Someone on the beach before us this morning.
Their footprints tell their story,
He is a Japanese male - wearing Tabi, two-toed.
sock-like boots, so he is a local, not a tourist.
He has a splayed footed walking style, so is probably
an old farmer.
He is accompanied by a small dog. And by a female,
probably his wife, who is walking just behind him,
Japanese style. She's old, too, can't lift her feet up.
She is dragging something, probably the dog leash.
Call me Sherlock.
